About Astin Beal

Everything and everyone has a story. Through my work in entertainment and brand marketing I have had the pleasure in telling some of these stories for companies like Sony Pictures Television, Disney, and UNINTERRUPTED. This has required me to become very well-versed in coordinating and supporting development, production, and department teams both creatively and logistically. Moreover, I have grown comfortable in working cross-functionally to create and deliver both large scale projects and smaller digital marketing AV projects.

   Coordinating with all internal departments (music, graphics, writers, editors, AEs, etc.) to handle the needs and requests of the team- Professionally interfacing with external clients to schedule calls, coordinate media assets, and handle postings- Assisting in project setup and overall asset management- Regularly checking in with editors to discuss creative, be sure they have everything they need (GFX, music, copy, etc) and to make sure they are on schedule- QCing spots and sending them to clients- Sending editors their changes - type up detailed breakdown of the changes then discuss to minimize any confusion and make sure everything makes sense- Feature Notes - taking detailed notes of any dialogue and/or scenes that might come in handy for a trailer or TV spot- Booking scratch and paid voiceover for films on a weekly basis- Tracking down soundalikes to fit the trailer or TV spot- Copywriting- Giving creative notes to editors and gfx artists- Preparing creative materials for meetings, including transcripts, posters, trailers, TV spots and any other items that may need to be prepared- Heavy calendar managing and scheduling- Assisting in administrative duties, including: tracking creative deadlines for all AV projects- Organizing and updating Digital Assets like Quicktimes, PDF’s and other creative files- Distributing and organizing creative materials- Upkeep and maintaining electronic and file logs of all outside vendor agency materials and competitive advertising content
