ABOUT ADAM STEVENSON

I am an enthusiastic Ethical Hacking graduate and Security Researcher who thrives on exploring complex cybersecurity challenges and proactively uncovering emerging threats. My experience spans SOC operations, penetration testing, and zero-day vulnerability research across enterprise environments. My academic background and natural curiosity have shaped me into a resourceful, collaborative professional who values clear communication, inclusive teamwork, and continuous learning. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, public speaking, tennis, and chess—activities that reinforce my drive for strategic thinking, discipline, and connection with people from all walks of life. The thesis and development of my honours project, titled:\"Proactive Defence in Active Directory: Leveraging PowerShell for Enhanced Security,\" focused on identifying and mitigating existing vulnerabilities within an active directory automatically, using PowerShell. Additionally, the project demonstrated the attacks alongside the existing detection and mitigation methods, reporting this information to a website for administrator analysis. The solution I developed for this project was written entirely in PowerShell, with the website written with C# and JavaScript elements, and achieved an A+ grade during my final year of university. I am also authoring an upcoming paper on the practical use of OSINT, for intelligence gathering. This paper includes methodologies and tools used primarily by both legitimate OSINT enthusiasts and criminals alike.
