About Asta Roseway

Asta Roseway is a Principal Research Designer at Microsoft Research in the Urban Innovation Initiative. She is a self-proclaimed “Fusionist” who applies cross disciplinary practices through Design to bridge fields together to create the next wave of technologies and user experiences. Her group collaborations include hyper-local environmental sensing, explorations in ambient AI, as well as other hybrid HCI research. Her work has been showcased at events such as CES, ARS Electronica, SXSW, and NY Fashion Week. Additionally, she is a co-founder of Microsoft\'s Digigirlz and Artist in Residence.
