I offer geospatial data management, application development, data science, and data analysis support to projects related primarily to natural and cultural heritage conservation, incorporating sustainability values and ensuring climate resilience.I am mainly open to contract work. I will accept permanent positions in significant impact organizations to which I can contribute in decision-making. In this regard, a flexible schedule in terms of hours and remote work, appropriate compensation for a mid-career professional, and a creative, diverse, driven, multidisciplinary team are all a must.I am passionate about optimizing workflows and work efficiency - I WILL SUGGEST improvements. If we can approach upcoming challenges with sharp critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, and openness to dialogue, we can achieve outstanding results.In terms of background- I am a highly experienced and versatile professional with expertise and licenses in natural heritage conservation, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Earth Observation, and teaching- Proven track record with comprehensive experience in consulting, education, and public relations, with advanced skills in data analysis, web development, multimedia, design, technical & creative writing, and project management- Specialized experience in projects ranging from wildlife habitat management and conservation policies to urban sustainability science consultancy, within public and private sectors, in Europe and the US. Certified and experienced in ArcGIS, Carto, ERDAS Imagine, Google SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Corel, Audio/Video editing, web development, database management, and coding (Python, R, SQL, HTML, CSS, JS, ArcGIS Arcade, and PHP)- In addition to being bilingual in English and Romanian, I am fluent in French and Spanish, and hold adequate command of Italian, and German languages- Advocate for natural and cultural heritage conservation, sustainability, scientific literacy, and inclusive access to STEM education.When I don\'t run data analyses and build geospatial applications, you can find me creating community, promoting arts, designing, hiking, or gardening.
