Roles and Responsibilities in TCS - Responsible for managing the entire Storage and SAN environment. Implementation, Configuration and management of Storage systems like IBM EMC (VNX-5700/7500,UNITY600F,VMAX,Xtremio,Isilon), NetApp (FAS8200,AFF300), Hitachi Data Systems(VSP G200,G600,G800,HUSVM) with GAD Solution in place for active-active DataCentre solution. Implementation, Configuration and management of Brocade, Cisco Fabric. Responsible for troubleshooting of Storage and SAN Infra. Follow multiple ITIL Process. Implementing Active-Active Data Center Solution(Hitachi GAD). Design, Planning and Migration of SAN Fabrics. Storage and Fabric Consolidation Work with Platform Team for Storage Performance tuning with VMware,Windows,Linux. Troubleshooting of Storage, SAN Issues and Bottlenecks. Configuring Disaster recovery (DR) and Business continuity solutions(BCP). Storage migration, planning and executions for various business purposes. Dealing with Vendor management within ITIL process guidelines. Capacity Management process owner for Storage Team. Monthly reports of Change Request (CR) and allocations done. Have prepared several Audit reports for the Storage department. Vendor Co-ordination on Hardware Break – Fix. Reporting and Documentation of needy documentations. Recommend upgrades / updates on s/w builds / versions. Coordinated with 3rd-party vendors and provided 24/7 support to ensure successful Data availability. Have developed manual and written 2 technical documents on SAN Migration and submitted to KMDB(knowledge management database).
