ABOUT GRAEME TILLEY

A closet passenger transport geek with vast knowledge of all things bus and coach. A highly skilled and experienced Managing Director, Sales and Marketing Manager, Operations Manager, Transport and Compliance Manager and finance professional with experience of working throughout the UK and Europe. I have specialised and led teams in wholesale and direct tour operations, both inbound and outbound tour series, home to school transport, local service operations, private coach hire, VIP and Sporting transport and express travel in a career spanning nearly 30 years. Experience with business, financial and marketing planning has led me to work with the international travel trade and exhibit at trade shows around the world delivering touring products into the UK for tour operators both large and small. Compliance and transport management experience has given me the tools to deal with the DVSA and Traffic Commissioner with everything from desk top assessment’s prohibitions and Public Inquiries to modernising coach operators systems to become both efficient and compliant. Outside of the coach travel industry, rather than donning my anorak and camera, photographing buses and coaches, I prefer to endure the ups and downs of following Newcastle United, travelling to exotic locations and occasionally testing the boundaries of responsible drinking in North East England’s finest public houses.
