Aman Assefa is a credit risk professional with over 20 years of experience in financial services including cryptocurrency lending, corporate and investment banking.He currently holds the position of Global Head of Counterparty and Credit Risk at OKX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange. Before joining OKX, Aman led credit underwriting and lending for the Americas at BlockFi, Inc, a digital asset lender, where he also managed the restructuring of distressed loans. Prior to that, Aman served as a Director in Corporate & Investment Banking - Credit Risk at Bank of America, where he was responsible for credit underwriting and lending to a portfolio of technology, media, and telecommunications companies. Previously, Aman spent thirteen years at Goldman Sachs, where he held progressively senior roles in the firm\'s Risk Division, covering a range of industries and asset classes.Aman began his career in the mortgage banking division of Wells Fargo. He holds a Master of Science in Finance with distinction from Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Olaf College.
