Investigates abuse or neglect of members in health care facilities and board and care facilities including hospitals, nursing homes, home health, medical clinics.• Creates investigative plan, coordinating and conducting party and witness interviews promptly and thoroughly. Uses CPT and HCPCS codes accordingly.• Prepares written investigation reports, serving subpoenas, and preparing witness statements and/or affidavits as necessary• Works directly with the Louisiana Dept. of Health to report FWA• Maintains timely communication with all involved parties and key stakeholders• Processing audits and applying corrective actions• Manages conflicts and competing priorities within a matrixed and complex organization• Data mining and analyzing facts from Healthcare Fraud Shield, QXNT, and other resources/complex documents
