My professional career began shortly after moving to West Palm Beach and accepting a job as a nursing support counselor at Comprehensive Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs Inc.(CARP 19••••95) Having completed the South Florida Summer Institute\'s Chemical Dependency Training Program at Palm Beach State College in 1994 I went on the be a counselor in CARP\'s Residential Treatment Programs through April 1995 when I accepted a partnership in a local photographic studio. I returned to the substance use disorder field in Nov. of 1995 as a behavioral health tech at Hanley Hazelden\'s residential treatment center and completed their Addictions Professional Training Institute and served as a co-facilitator in their Family Program and later accepted a position as an Admissions Specialist 9/1998-12/2001. Deeply honored to serve as an ambassador for the Rendezvous of Hope, Hazelden\'s 50th Anniversary Celebration in Brooklyn MN I accepted an admissions specialist position in 9/1998 and resigned in 12/2001 to pursue a career in the health supplement field as a Manufacturer\'s Rep. For the sate of Florida. Returning to the treatment center field in admission with the Life of Purpose Treatment Center on the FAU Campus in Boca Raton 10/2015 and then joining the Ebb Tide Treatment Center team as a group facilitator in 5/2017 and transitioning into Community Relations and Business Development later that year, retiring 6/2019 I continue to serve in the field as a volunteer with the Palm Beach County Behavioral Health Coalition and South East Florida Recovery Advocates as a volunteer in creating a new RCO for Palm Beach County which opened it\'s doors this may 2021. See pbcbhc.org and pbchub.org I continue to enjoy working with individuals and families in discovering new lives in recovery and look forward to helping others seeking recovery. I a licensed ULC Minister in Palm Beach County and have served as a Prayer Chaplain & Pastoral Care Team member with Unity of the Palm Beaches for the past 4 years, and I continue to benefit by courses offered by Unity.org as we return to weekly services at Temple Israel in West Palm Beach. I am also deeply honored to have recently accepted board member position with the Florida Addictions Treatment Coalition (FATC.org) and I serve as a community liaison in promoting ethical and transparent treatment, and for integrating a greater awareness of community needs in providing services to individuals and families with behavioral health needs relating to addictive disorders.
