I have experience in all aspects of HVAC, electrical, and Building Automation Systems. If it is something that moves air or water in a building, then at some point in my career I either designed, started-up, improved its energy efficiency, or commissioned it (sometimes all four in a single job!). I am especially at home with specialized laboratory or other mission critical systems. My time in the \"HVAC life\" began with managing various aspects of cGMP validated projects, such as Detailed Design Specifications, Site Acceptance Tests, HVAC system commissioning, and Installation and Operational Qualifications at several pharmaceutical sites in the Philadelphia area. Starting in the BAS / BMS / ATC / DDC field provided a strong foundation for later roles.Moving into the design realm, I began to create HVAC systems for manufacturing, commercial, industrial, and governmental clients including central station air handling units, boilers, chillers, specialized laboratory systems, compressed air systems, clean steam systems, etc. Knowing how the systems were to meant operate was essential in providing good designs. I now focus on providing commissioning and retro-commissioning services to help clients reduce energy, improve operations, and consult on facility management improvements. My team shines in helping clients transition projects from the construction phase to the operation & maintenance phase. Our Subject Matter Experts effectively coordinate with government agencies, contractors and construction organizations for commissioning, arc flash studies, and facility condition assessments.
