Originally educated as an Economist in her native Belgium, Alexandra became an accomplished global business leader and developer, with 14 years of corporate experience in the IT and Security & Defense Systems sector in Europe and Asia. Feeling equally excited by the technical side of things, Alexandra added some new hard skills to her bag of tricks, graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science, and reinventing herself as a Systems Software Engineer in Silicon Valley. Aside from working hard, Alexandra likes to play hard too: during her world travels, she has had the privilege of making friends in 5 different languages, competing in a World Championship as a member of her National Kendo Team, and becoming a PADI certified Divemaster.
