Hi! I’m Asmit Kaur Narang, a fourth-year Fashion Design student at Pearl Academy with a deep-rooted interest in streetwear and avant-garde aesthetics.    My role focuses on bridging design, sourcing, production, and customer-facing functions to ensure smooth execution of collections from concept to delivery. Key responsibilities include:• Fabric sourcing and coordination with vendors and suppliers• Building and maintaining strong vendor and supplier relationships• Sampling coordination for new collections, from development to approvals• Creating and maintaining design documentation, including Excel trackers, design reports, tech packs, and measurement sheets• Inventory monitoring and basic stock management to ensure availability and accuracy• Overseeing fabric quality and conducting quality checks during sampling and production• Supporting customer care–related responsibilities connected to merchandising and order execution• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timelines, quality standards, and brand requirements are metThis role has helped me develop a well-rounded understanding of merchandising, sourcing, design support, and quality within a fast-paced fashion environment.
