About Asmita Kulkarni
Born in a middle class family in Pune, life was always great having gotten the chance to explore many extracurricular activities in my school and college life. I loved the German language always and still do, but really could not see myself doing something professionally in this area, mostly due to the lack of proper guidance. By elimination, I ended up doing my Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication. I was really very fortunate to start my career with Robert Bosch Engg and Business Solutions.Life was really coming good. However, after a few months, I realized that I was literally living a weekend to weekend life and the week was totally dedicated to my job. Almost all my college friends had moved on for higher studies to either USA or Germany, but I really never felt that it was my calling in life. Also, as I was staying with my friends in Coimbatore away from my parents, it gave me a sense of what life is all about and how my salary used to get over just by paying the rent and maintaining the house. Time passed by, but I had not yet found my calling in life but was looking to do something more.After I started working in KPIT, fortunately, I had a chance to read one of the best-sellers “Rich Dad Poor Dad” which helped me big time to understand the importance of multiple sources of income. But unfortunately, I could not see any options that suited me. Covid made it even worse and my desire to have multiple sources of income become even stronger as I experienced Pay cuts and saw layoffs in the industry. Also, became more aware of health and started working towards it. Fortunately, through one of my friends, I got an opportunity to be a part of communities that focus on health and wellness and growing ourselves beyond the job. My dream is to live a healthy, happy, EMI-free life, have financial freedom, and leave a legacy for the next generations. I am in the stage of pursuing my dreams.
