As Group Head in Screening and Automation, my passion is to automate complex in-vitro experimental workflows to enable identification of novel targets in the metabolic disease area. My focus is to establish cutting-edge lab automation platforms that will enhance our experimental capability and capacity, and to build and develop a strong team of scientists to achieve our goals. I believe lab automation can help scientists perform work effectively and efficiently and add value in the treatment of human disease- Molecular biologist with a PhD from the University of Cambridge, identifying the role of histone demethylases in cardiac physiology and disease- Preclinical drug discovery experience in the therapeutic areas of metabolic diseases and gastroenterology- Enjoy solving challenging problems and accomplish tasks with full responsibility.Specialities & interests- lab automation, drug discovery, assay development, problem solving, data analysis, scientific writing and communication, and commercial awareness.
