The Thread is a grassroots community initiative I founded during the 2025 Vancouver Web Summit to spark meaningful, real-life connections among women in tech and beyond.In a city where the tech scene can feel transactional and isolating, I envisioned a space where visibility, warmth, and heart-based leadership could co-exist.Since its launch, I have led the end-to-end design and strategic growth of the community, shaping its brand identity, building its infrastructure, and curating an ongoing series of in-person gatherings across various formats, including forest walks, job hunt labs, coworking days, pitch practice nights, and more. Each event is intentionally free and carefully crafted to deepen relationships, unlock new opportunities, and celebrate women at every stage of their journey in tech and business.
