ABOUT ASMAA ABDELMAGEED
As a Project Assistant at IOM - UN Migration, I have been working on the Culture Orientation project for over four years. My role involves coordinating and facilitating cultural orientation sessions for newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers, ensuring their smooth integration into the host community. I also serve as an Interpreters Focal Point, managing the recruitment and training of interpreters to support the project\'s language needs. In addition to my work at IOM, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration and Management from Cairo University. I have a strong interest in humanitarian work and have completed several certifications related to child protection and psychological first aid. I am passionate about contributing to the well-being and empowerment of vulnerable populations, and I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
