ABOUT AIMEE JACOBS

I am an experienced test professional and leader based in Wellington. I have over eight years experience working in a fast paced agile environment at one of NZ’s busiest ecommerce platforms.I am a bubbly, approachable person who thrives on challenges. My experience ranges from being the sole test analyst on complex projects such as introducing a new payment option to the Trade Me platforms, to managing a team of engineers.Most recently I’ve taken on a leadership role where I’m responsible for a diverse team of engineers with varied experience, providing motivation, direction and technical mentoring.I pride myself on being a people-person, an advocate for team culture and helping others to grow.I am looking for a role where I can inject my experience and enthusiasm into an existing team, or build and grow teams to tackle exciting opportunities identified by the business. Regardless of the challenge, the most important consideration for me is the company culture; the people I’ll be working with, and how I can help them towards a common goal.
