Throughout my consulting career at IQVIA, I tackled some of the most complex business challenges for healthcare and life sciences companies. My transformative experience at Roche as Strategy Head and subsequently as Cluster Head and India Enabling Leader has deeply shaped my professional journey.Here’s why my time at Roche has been pivotal:• Have lived the complete spectrum, from presenting to the Roche global leadership team to obtain approval for the India Strategy to waiting for hours with my field colleagues to convert a difficult doctor.• Co-created one of the most successful organizational transformations in the history of the Indian pharmaceutical industry with the Cluster Operating Model for Roche India. I lived this model through my role as Cluster Head, resulting in 5X revenue growth in 4 years.• Built champion teams in Strategy function -highly analytical from Ivy League B-Schools to a diverse cluster team that included oncologists, PhDs, startup founders, MBBS, MBAs and seasoned pharma veterans.• One of the 1st in the Indian pharma industry to move away from the traditional target-based incentive model for the field force.• Designed Roche India\'s 10-year portfolio strategy and executed a rapid divestment of non-exclusive products within three months during the COVID crisis.• Established a launch excellence team and process that facilitated over 20 new innovations (product and indication) launches within five years.• Managed end-to-end P&L while leading a multidisciplinary team of commercial, medical, access, strategy across various therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Hemophilia, Ophthalmology, and Neurology.• My cluster won the inaugural RACE (Roche All Cluster Excellence) award for best performance in 2021, faced a setback the following year, and achieved redemption by regaining the award in 2023, during my tenure, my team won 2 out of the 3 annual RACE awards.• I took pleasure in bringing out the best in diverse teams, rolling up my sleeves to walk alongside them to achieve our objectives.• Launched the most successful global product of Roche (Ocrevus) in the Indian market, marking Roche India’s entry into the neurology segment.• Led numerous industry-first initiatives that shaped the market landscape across disease areas• I had the privilege of being a part of a highly diverse India leadership team • Met some wonderful leaders who remain my mentors, mentored talented colleagues, forming lifelong relationshipsFeel free to reach out if you\'d like to discuss how I might add value to your organization!
