Masters in Information Security from Indian Institute of Information Asit is a leading Incident response orchestrator who has rigorous experience handling incident response for Global Fortune 100 companies. Asit started his cyber security career as an intern with CERT -India (Govt of India CSIRT) and later was a founder member of a global CSIRT team for fortune 100 IT giant. In his early career he was responsible for building digital forensics labs, malware analysis platforms and enterprise incident response frameworks. Asit has hands on expertise in digital forensics, cyber incident response and malware analysis. He possesses Industry reputed certifications like Encase EnCE and GIAC GREM, GCFA, GCFE along with proud honoured membership of the SANS/GIAC advisory board. He has multiple publications in reputed conferences and journals along with invited book chapters by an international publisher.In his current role at Facebook, Asit is responsible for Architecting and developing innovative Incident response frameworks and tools to serve the bespoke IR needs. This comprises of building proactive cyber defence mechanisms, automations which speed up the cyber investigation process. It also includes developing real time threat intelligence for perimeter defences, development and setting up custom honeypot networks, leveraging SIEM capabilities for automated response.
