I am responsible for the successful deployment of the Continuous Improvement program in the Region of EMEA and Asia for the Aerospace, Defence and Marine Business Unit in TE Connectivity. I have 6 dotted line Site Continuous Improvement managers that I coach and lead across 6 sites in the EMEA region. All of these are high mix-model manufacturing operating sites with connector, relay and cable product portfolio of thousands of part numbers through machining, moulding, extrusion, plating, stamping and assembly processes. I build the Lean strategy and provide direction and coaching for the Lean business system deployment and roll out by conducting Leadership training, Gemba coaching, Flow/Process Kaizens and Lean Maturity Assessments. With the vision of customer satisfaction, employee engagement and shareholder returns, I build upon delivering a balanced SQDC scorecard through first establishing foundational daily management operational tools to create stability and the right Lean culture. Secondly, I guide in site strategy and promote the development of the talent by using technical and operational excellence tools like Cell design, QCO, Standard Work, 3P, PS, VSM etc. to transform the end-to-end value streams.
