I have 25 years of very rewarding and rich professional experience in progressively responsible roles on large scale multi sector international development projects mainly all across Pakistan as Development Program Specialist, Engineering / Infrastructure Specialist, Chief Environmental Officer, and Climate Integration Lead.I served public, private, NGOs and corporate entities that include Pakistani National, USA based engineering firms and USAID (US Government) in USA Embassy Islamabad. I have some international work experience working in/on central Asia republics, east Asia Missions, and global initiatives working from USAID headquarter based in Washington DC, USA. Throughout my career, I actively contributed in the identification, design development, execution and operationalization of large-scale infrastructure, engineering, energy, water supply, irrigation, command area development, health and education buildings, by leading on the life of project management. On a regular basis, I provided highly technical advice to senior Government of Pakistan officials, up to the level of Secretary, on complex issues relating to regularly occurring, highly specialized and unique problems or disputes of engineering and development projects implementation, that require specialized solutions and approaches. I have Expert knowledge of project management, engineering designs, public procurement, legal issues, social and environmental compliance for development projects in energy, urban development, education, health, infrastructure, water, agriculture, and economic growth. I have intensive Knowledge and understanding of Pakistan and province specific historic, economic, social, cultural, and political characteristics; current development prospects for Pakistan and Pakistan government priorities and resources; and an overall understanding of the general development in the region. I have Expert level Knowledge of Government of Pakistan’s rules, policies and laws related to public sector projects implementation, procurement, legal and public management.
