ABOUT ASIF HASAN
I was born in Bangladesh and left home at 11 for India to pursue better education, understand diversity, explore cultures, and learn languages. This journey taught me resilience, determination, creativity, and teamwork, essential traits for leadership and overcoming life’s challenges. I am blessed to have parents who guided me on this entrepreneurial journey, helping me reach my fullest potential.As a teenager, I founded and worked in multiple NGOs focused on providing education, clothing, and food for street children in Bangladesh. Empowering individuals to make positive changes in the world has been my passion ever since.I consider myself a world citizen, having been born in Bangladesh, educated in India, and building successful companies in Canada. During my engineering studies, I realized it was about applied critical thinking and problem-solving, not just learning course content. This led me to co-found SimpTek, now Climative, a clean-tech company with an AI-assisted data platform. Climative enables organizations to offer personalized advice to building owners, taking the guesswork out of building upgrades and transforming the low-carbon economy.My entrepreneurial journey has now led me to co-found NeuroAI, a HealthTech company dedicated to transforming the assessment and care of neurodiversities, starting with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Inspired by my experiences as a foster parent, advocate for child welfare, and the commitment of my wife, a dedicated BCBA, and my mother-in-law, who has worked in the field of autism for over 35 years, I realized the critical need for early intervention. NeuroAI uses advanced AI to turn fragmented, delayed care into continuous support, transforming wait time into support time for families and clinicians across the entire care journey.Building NeuroAI in Atlantic Canada was a deliberate decision, as this region offers the perfect environment for innovation and growth. The entrepreneurial ecosystem here is vibrant and supportive, making it the ideal place to start and scale a global impact. I am incredibly proud to be part of this community and to contribute to its ongoing success.My journey is about enabling and empowering others to reach their highest potential. I feel blessed to have a world-class team at both Climative and NeuroAI, continuously bringing positive changes to the global stage.
