About Asia Akbar
My passion in life and work has always been centered around helping and interacting with others. Over the past seven years I have grown exponentially in the space of administration and recruiting, across a variety of industries, though I decided it is time to pivot back to school. Paired with my volunteering at the Washington Warm Line where I assist Washington residents in addressing their mental and emotional support needs, I am also pursuing a degree in Social Work to eventually grow into a role where I can continue my journey developing stronger roots within my community.
