ABOUT ASIA B.

I am a recent graduate of Concordia University\'s Masters of Organizational Leadership program. I also received a certificate in Strategic Marketing. Since 2012 I have been honing my marketing skills, especially social media. In the past, I ran my own social media marketing firmed where I assisted small businesses with their social media marketing strategies. Many of the small businesses started out without social media plans and rarely used social media platforms. I was able to help them learn how to effectively analyze data, post and create content. More recently, I helped content creators as a virtual assistant. I managed their social media pages and helped them with scheduling. Although I have a lot of skills in marketing, I have also been able to acquire skills in project management, supervising, strategy planning and training in my current role as Program Manager. Additionally, I am working on a comic book company with my business partner, where I work on the writing and marketing strategy. I have a passion for helping my communities especially the black and LGBT+ community. I volunteer in management, finance, planning and community work with House of Kuumba a black LGBT+ housing collective.
