As a Human Resources Manager for the Air Force, I have had the honor of supervising a team of 8 Human Resources Specialists for the past 9 years. During this time, I have overseen 32 comprehensive programs that include employee relations, payroll management, timesheet tracking, managerial analysis, and advisory services to commanders, all of which are vital to the effective functioning of the Air Force. These programs collectively support 313 members across three different sections, ensuring that human resources functions are managed efficiently and in compliance with Air Force policies and regulations.In addition to my role as a Human Resources Manager, I have also volunteered as an Alternative Unit Security Manager and Unit Deployment Manager. In these roles, I have been responsible for ensuring the security and safety of unit personnel and resources, as well as coordinating deployment activities to support mission readiness.Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to providing strategic guidance to my team, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and supporting professional development initiatives. I have also played a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and providing advisory services to commanders on HR-related matters. My goal has always been to ensure that the human resources function aligns with the overall mission of the Air Force and contributes to the success and well-being of its personnel.My experience in overseeing these critical HR functions, combined with my volunteer roles in security management and deployment coordination, has equipped me with valuable insights and expertise in managing a diverse range of programs and supporting a large number of personnel across various sections of the Air Force.
