The world of technology never stands still. I firmly believe we shouldn’t either.That’s why as soon as I graduated from the University of Colombo, I joined Virtusa as an Associate Software Engineer – and worked to become a Senior Software Engineer shortly after.That’s why I then moved to the United Kingdom, seeking exciting new opportunities for my personal development and growth. It’s the reason I joined British business Volume as a Software Developer, adapting to the fast-paced nature of agency life before driving the company to set up an office in Sri Lanka.That’s why I’m now proud to head up the Colombo Centre for Cognitive Computing, or CogCom, managing a team of over 25 talented developers.That’s why we’re pioneering in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, building apps for some of the world’s leading organisations; apps that respond to human interaction in natural language and real time.There’s no telling what tomorrow holds for technology.
