   As a Product Manager, I love crafting a vision and telling stories of how we get to that vision. This is the story of how I had the rewarding experience of building a new software & services division within a hardware-centric organization. Identifying the market opportunity \"In god we trust. All others must bring data\"- W Edwards Deming. Initially, as a strategist, I took a data driven approach to expand Intel NUC IoT segment SAM by 120%. Performed market analysis with senior product managers and drove technical evaluation with engineering leads to position Intel NUC as a differentiating product for various IoT usecases. Augmenting skillsets The Intel NUC group was hardware-centric with basic software capabilities. I worked with Intel Capital (in house VC), central strategy and sales teams to evaluate several software companies and onboard unique software technologies to help compliment Intel NUC hardware offerings. Ideated a product and business strategy to collaborate with Azure, AWS, RedHat, Scale Computing, Xyte, and a few other SIs, ISVs, CSPs, MSPs to establish a rev-share driven product development and deployment model. Building a business model Led the pricing strategy, product execution, and go to market efforts with stakeholders across Intel and the above mentioned software companies to launch and support a new \'Edge to Cloud\' connected product portfolio and an as-a-service infrastructure. This effort has paved the path for Intel NUC group to monetize on software via a rev share model. Putting it all together - assembling a rockstar team All of these efforts eventually lead to the building and leading a cross-functional team of product managers, software architects, software developers, and program managers, all driven towards a common goal of \"disrupting scalable deployment of solutions & services\" in the half a trillion dollar IoT industry.
