About Ashwin Venkatakrishnan
Over the past two years, I have actively built a portfolio around Technology Transfer and Process Development in the Pharmaceutical Industry. I seek to provide my services to Pharmaceutical and Biotech Companies, using skills developed through my industrial and academic experiences, some of which include – -> Scale-up and Technology Transfer of Manufacturing Processes – Lab/Pilot/Plant Scale-> Process Development and Design for Drug Substance/Drug Product Manufacture-> Process Engineering and Optimization-> Hands-on experience with manufacturing in GMP environment-> GMP Production Documentation and Report Generation-> Cross-functional collaboration in highly matrixed environments. While the above is my primary area of focus, I am also passionate about Process Safety Engineering. I am currently exploring this interest through my Graduate Capstone Project, which involves developing a computer-based tool that alerts users about lab hazards and implores them to perform further analysis. Aside from my professional interests, I enjoy having meaningful conversations on a wide variety of topics ranging from philosophy and global affairs to music and TV shows. You will find me to be personable, approachable, and high-spirited at all times. My ultimate dream is to focus all the professional and academic experience that I’ve accrued, toward a mission to help humanity with life-saving drugs, therapeutics, and diagnostics. I would be delighted to work in an environment that fosters the same values that I hold.
