ABOUT ASHWIN KULANGARA SHAJI

Robotics and Data Engineer with 4.5+ years of experience bridging industrial automation and data-driven intelligence. My work integrates robotic system design, AI-powered automation, and large-scale data analytics to solve real-world engineering challenges. On the robotics side, I’ve developed end-to-end solutions involving ROS-based navigation, LiDAR integration, robotic arm programming (UR, FANUC), and real-time object detection using OpenCV and YOLO. I’ve built custom GUIs, designed end-of-arm tools, implemented SLAM in Gazebo simulations, and used ROS2 for autonomous navigation in complex environments. In parallel, I’ve worked on large-scale data engineering projects designing ETL pipelines with Apache Airflow and PySpark, automating workflows across GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage), and visualizing insights with Tableau and Power BI.
