About Ashwini Verma
I’m a Ph.D. candidate at CSIR-NCL, India, working at the intersection of machine learning and materials science with a focus on hydrogen storage and sustainable energy. At NCL, I’ve developed ML models that screen millions of metal alloys, predict hydrogen storage properties, and guide experiments. I’ve also worked at the intersection of deep learning, density functional theory, and reinforcement learning to accelerate metal cluster structure prediction. What drives me is applying ML to build faster, smarter, and scalable solutions, whether it’s through predictive modeling, active learning, or integrating domain knowledge into data-driven pipelines.Now, I’m interested in bringing this experience to innovate at the intersection of AI, materials, and clean energy.
