Hi there! My name is Ashwin Badamikar. I\'m a Master\'s student in Information Systems at Northeastern University, passionate about Data Engineering, AI/ML, and building scalable data systems.With a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science from JSS Academy of Technical Education and a year and half of professional experience as a Software Engineer at TurnOn, I\'ve developed expertise in building production-grade data pipelines, machine learning systems, and cloud-native applications. Professional Experience:At TurnOn, I developed and optimized ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Kafka, improving data processing efficiency by 20%. I built predictive models and integrated real-time analytics that increased decision-making speed by 15%, delivering valuable insights for both internal and external stakeholders. Key Projects:Chronic Care AI: Built an AI-driven health assistant integrating FastAPI, Streamlit, and LangGraph for chronic disease management. Developed ETL pipelines with Apache Airflow and Snowflake, and integrated GPT-4, Pinecone, and Mistral AI with CI/CD using GitHub Actions and Docker.Financial Statement Data Pipeline: Developed an automated financial data pipeline using Snowflake, Airflow, and DBT for SEC data ingestion, with a FastAPI backend and Streamlit frontend for real-time visualization.Cross-Lingual Transfer Learning for NLI: Investigated cross-lingual transfer learning using the XNLI dataset, enabling NLI across 15 languages.
