Elicit and gather requirements for Performance Testing by working closely with functional test teams, development teams and/or business teams on a regular basis and drive out performance requirements for the application under test.• Build Performance Test Strategies and Frameworks based on the planned scope of Performance Testing • Support planned and/or unplanned releases and/or upgrades on various applications and/or infrastructure hosting them by designing and executing performance tests to successfully measure the application performance• Involved in Business functionality review meetings and Use-Case Analysis and developing the templates for User/Customer Training and documentation. • Create performance test strategy documents early in the project lifecycle which defines the critical test areas, test environment and data requirements and internal and external dependencies including use of various for performance evaluation of hardware and software.• Conduct workload analysis using Webtrends and Adobe analytics tools and analyze the usage of software and hardware in production environments and ensure that realistic performance evaluation is conducted.• Design complex test scenarios to simulate user workloads and user behavior patterns at peak production workloads.• Design and conduct tests with complex workloads and data shapes to expose potential bottlenecks and failure points for new hardware and software.• Creates solutions and conduct performance tests to improve availability, performance, reliability, capacity and scalability in the application, system or database layers• Manage the storage, scheduling and execution of performance test scripts using Microfocus Performance Center as well as track any performance issues and defects using in the Atlassian Jira.• Identify, design and develop creative solutions for practical performance test problems during design, scripting, execution or maintenance of the tests.
