ABOUT ASHUTOSH MANOHAR

I’m a Previz and Layout artist who’s all about good, solid storytelling. Whether it’s for TV, film, or game cinematics, I love working with teams to bring ideas to life through strong visual composition, camera work, and pacing. Since 2018, I’ve had the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects, taking on different roles and growing with each experience. At Atomic Cartoons, I’ve been lucky to return more than once—each time joining a different team and exploring new challenges, including serving as a Lead Layout Artist. The studio has been a place where I’ve continued to evolve as both an artist and a collaborator. One of the biggest highlights in my career was joining the team at Sony for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Stepping into that world was surreal. I was surrounded by incredibly talented artists and welcomed with so much support and generosity. It was an environment full of passion, where every idea and detail mattered. It pushed me to grow quickly and gave me a real sense of what’s possible when a team truly clicks. Another standout moment was working on the cinematics for Minecraft Legends at Blackbird Interactive. The experience was creatively intense—in the best way. With minimal briefs and tons of creative freedom, our small team made bold decisions, collaborated closely, and produced work we were genuinely proud of. It reminded me how powerful trust and collaboration can be. I’m drawn to opportunities that challenge me and allow for a space to explore new approaches. Whether working on stylized animation, realistic action, or anything in between, I love solving visual problems and making each shot count. I’m also big on teamwork—there’s nothing better than bouncing ideas around with passionate people and finding that rhythm where everything just flows. Looking ahead, I’m excited to keep growing, learning from the people around me, and contributing to projects that are fun, meaningful, and creatively fulfilling.
