About Ashutosh Singh

With a master\'s degree in computer science from Boston University, I am a software engineer at Yelp, where I lead the effort to build UI based tooling for Yelp’s data pipeline infrastructure. I have strong skills in React, Backend as well as experience in working with Kafka and data ingestion services.At Yelp, I have implemented a system to allocate and discover streams in the streaming infrastructure, which helped Yelp implement tiered Kafka clusters and made Kafka cluster migration more manageable. I have also improved the reliability and reduced the latency of Yelp\'s data ingestion service, which receives the most traffic after the Yelp website. I enjoy mentoring new hires and collaborating with other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of Yelp\'s users and stakeholders. I am passionate about developing user-friendly and scalable tools that enable data-driven decision making and innovation at Yelp.
