Mechanical Engineering professional with 15 years of experience in Fertilizer, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas refineries, leading maintenance and reliability for critical rotary and static equipment, major turnarounds and brownfield/greenfield projects. Experienced in heading maintenance for process units, driving equipment availability, reliability improvement and maintenance cost optimization while ensuring high standards of safety and compliance.Key Skills & Expertise• Maintenance leadership for critical rotary equipment: pumps, compressors, steam turbines, blowers, gearboxes and fans, along with columns, reactors, heat exchangers and pressure vessels.• Turnaround management: scope definition, work pack preparation, planning and scheduling, contractor management, daily progress monitoring and safe, leak-free, on-time start-up.• Erection & commissioning of rotary and static equipment for brownfield/greenfield projects in Urea, Paraxylene and FCC units, including alignment, trial runs and performance testing.• Preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, condition monitoring, vibration analysis, troubleshooting of chronic problems and implementation of permanent corrective actions.• Strong experience in SAP (PM & MM modules, Prometheus) for work order management, notification handling, maintenance planning, material management, BOMs and maintenance history.• Turnaround planning and scheduling using tools like MS Excel and other planning software for resource loading, job sequencing, critical path monitoring and reporting.• Material and spare parts management: critical spares strategy, inventory control, PR/PO follow-up, vendor/OEM coordination and technical evaluation.• Team leadership: managing and mentoring engineers, supervisors and technicians; coordinating with Operations, Inspection, HSE and Projects for safe and efficient maintenance execution.• Strong focus on HSE and process safety, permit-to-work, risk assessment (JSA), LOTO compliance and safe execution of high-risk jobs during routine and shutdown activities.Process & Licensor Exposure• Urea plant based on licensor Snamprogetti, handling high-pressure urea synthesis equipment and associated rotary/static assets.• Paraxylene unit based on BP technology, with hands-on exposure to critical rotating machinery and fractionation/heat exchange equipment.• FCC unit based on UOP/Honeywell technology, including reactor–regenerator associated equipment, blowers, wet gas compressors and ancillary systems.
