The role is part of Digital Platforms Leadership team. I started this Platform Engineering team in 2023 with 24 members and 2 data platforms, and it has evolved as 120+ org supporting 9 Data and Analytics Platform. We practice SAFe Agile and the team runs as an Agile Release Train (ART). I own the long-term roadmap and its implementation for the Data and Analytics platform portfolio. • Platforms include AWS/Azure with Databricks capabilities, Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, Informatica MDM, Collibra, Generative AI (Copilot Studio, OpenAI, LLaMA, DB Mosaic), PowerBI/ MS Fabric • The team caters to Data Engineers and Data Scientists across global geographies • Accountable for Managing the ART capacity and budget of $18M and overseeing processes for hiring, sourcing, and training of the SRE team. • Accountable for Developing standards for onboarding, centralized adoption of Shell approved DnA Platforms, reinforces design choices of architects, product managers and product owners. • The team construct includes Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Architects, IT Service Operations Managers, Scrum Masters and Site Reliability Engineers • Accountable for overall Development and Operations of DnA platform using Automated DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines and adherence of SLA/SLO of SRE practices • Accountable for cybersecurity, risk and compliances of the platforms in collaboration of relevant teams
