ABOUT ASRUT SAHA

I am an experienced ISTQB certified testing and quality assurance professional. Was awarded \'Bachelor in Electronics\' by University of Mumbai in 2008 followed by \'Masters in Avionics\' by University of Glasgow in 2011. My first professional Software Testing experience began back home in Mumbai where I was campus picked by an IT major. In UK, I joined Sky UK Ltd first as a Technical Adviser and then became an integral part of its testing team. Until now, I have worked on multiple projects and contributed my skills at every stage of a testing life cycle in an agile environment across companies building software produts for different domains. Have grabbed a few performance awards too, I would say, got lucky. My interpersonal skills are sound and have supported both technical and commercial aspects in a role. Working closely with software system architects and developers has enhanced my testing skills over time (Manual and Automation). Memorable Assignment - My academic dissertation \'FMEA of Aircraft Engine Fuel Systems\' was a learning curve towards also designing and using efficient methods for carrying out fault analysis of control systems. I was trained on all design, integration and verification/validation aspects of Avionics. My desire is to work for a company which fosters excellence, a pursuit for learning and dynamically evolves towards each step of providing good quality design and testing solutions to the relevant industry.
