ABOUT ASHRAF RIAD

I have worked on various types of projects including earthen dams, retaining walls, foundations, sinkhole remediation, municipal landfills, dewatering, industrial waste disposal, slurry walls, waste containment liners, surface water and groundwater modeling, water quality monitoring, contamination assessment, Dredging and Dredge Disposal, lake restoration and Gypsum Stacks design, closure, management, maintenance and inspection.During the 20 years with Ardaman & Associates, Inc, in Orlando, Florida, I was involved in numerous projects related to the phosphate industry including design and construction of phosphogypsum disposal facilities, gypsum disposal management and operation plan, gypsum stacks closure design and construction QAQC; sizing and design of cooling ponds.My experience covered technical and managerial aspects that included:(i) preparing scope of work and cost proposal;(ii) performing engineering planning and analyzing field and laboratory testing (iv) preparing technical reports and permit applications;(v) communicating with owners, contractors, engineers;(vi) preparing budgets;(vii) preparing technical specifications and construction QAQC preparation of construction design drawings;(ix) construction quality control/quality assurance plans; and (x) preparing summary of QC/QA report.Specialties: Project Management and Permitting - Geotechnical / Environmental Engineering Design - Industrial and Municipal Waste Disposal - Gypsum Stack Design and Closure - Earthen Dam Design and Construction - Groundwater and Surface Modeling - Soil and Groundwater Sampling - Foundations Design and Analyses - Lake Restoration - Dredging and Disposal - Contamination Assessment - Containment System Design - Technical Specifications - Construction Quality Control -
