Led a team of diverse skilled tradesmen, professionals, and specialized support contractors to carry out the planned infrastructure and EM operations and maintenance activities in accordance with the agreed SLA’s / KPIs • Managed Data Centers and Cable Landing Stations, both owned and leased (16+) with an average of 100Racks each, in terms of infrastructure and power distribution, physical access and security control, environment and HSE • Achieved the maximum optimization and savings on both the Capex and Opex by proper forecasting and budgeting, control and tracking (over all budget around 21M USD), and achieved more than 5% year on year savings for the last three consecutive years • Led the development and enhancement of the unit’s processes and implemented proper process documentation in coordination with other teams and departments • Maintained 24/7 operations for all sites in the network by utilizing on duty work force as well as on call escalation matrix • Worked progressively on optimizing preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and techniques every year by utilizing practical experience and lessons learnt • Enhanced the acceptance process for the new technical sites and EM systems to ensure quality and smooth operations in the network. • Contributed to the new designs and projects from an operational perspective and requirements including RFQ’s and RFP’s • Initiated and executed projects for improvement and enhancement of the operational sites and deployed best in class Data Centre solutions, such as introducing DCIM system, batteries monitoring system, free cooling system, fuel monitoring system, and implementation of MAXIMO facility management system • Attended regular management meetings and continuously updated for the issues related to the Data Centers, infrastructure, and EM Operations • Planned and applied disaster recovery and safety procedures for critical facilities using mobile generators and Air Conditioning units
