As a Business Strategy and Operations Lead, Ashraf Gomaa liaises with stakeholders to align on business strategy and timely execution of studies, contract negotiations, annual budget planning and other operational activities. He also collaborates with internal teams to ensure proper and timely contracting, payments, study budgets, and adequate resource management. In his previous roles, Ashraf managed teams of up to 25 personnel where he lead department processes and continuous improvement activities while contributing to cross-organizational processes and initiatives. He also managed team member performance, development, accountability and career development. Under his remit, Ashraf also managed key strategic site relationships to build capability and drive productivity and robust quality management. Ashraf has worked in multiple therapeutic areas including, but not limited to, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, Renal Cell Carcinoma studies, Merkel Cell Carcinoma, Pediatric Melanoma, and Cystic Fibrosis studies where he performed clinical monitoring in compliance with FDA regulations and all related SOPs. He coordinated collection of information from investigational sites and participated in investigator meetings.
