ABOUT ALI SHARIFI BOROUJERDI

I am very proud of being a member of the automotive industry that is trying to be safer, more reliable, and green. My background is in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning and Agile Software Project Management. During my Master education, I invented a new class of Neuro-Fuzzy classifiers to detect Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. Afterward, I pursued my dreams for AI joining the Computer Vision group at Brandenburg University of Technology where I worked on different aspects of the newly-born Deep Learning technology such as Object Detection, Region Segmentation, Color Morphology and Automatic Image Captioning. I had also the honor of some collaborations with my scientific colleagues in the very challenging field of 3D Surface Reconstruction as well as GPS Data Analysis and 3D Normal Integration. Nowadays, when I am not working on the revolutionary Automotive Cloud Projects, I spend my time with my family and friends, read about innovations in Deep Learning, play with some data to extract actionable insight out of it, think about autonomous vehicles of the future, and last but not least, continue my learning journey.
