Construction Project Engineer : Skills: Estimation, Project Management, Scheduling, Testing and Inspection, Contracts/Subcontracts, Safety Director, Supervision. In my 4 years at Civil Solutions, I served as a Project manager, Superintendent, Estimator, Project engineer, and safety director. I have had the privilege of working on a wide variety of projects involving structural repairs and foundations stabilization on residential projects, Geotechnical solutions for the Landfill construction, to Multi-million-dollar commercial site development projects across the Greater Cincinnati area. Prepare and submit contracts/subcontracts, and project schedules, change orders to contracts and Review and submit subcontractor invoices for approval. Perform weekly site visits for ongoing projects to meet with Superintendent and review the project progress in accordance with the Design drawings. Provide guidance and feedback to Site Forepersons, Foster relationships with clients and vendors, cultivate business opportunities with new clients and Actively look for and follow up on new leads and new projects Prepare cost estimates, bids, budgets, proposals, and schedules Execute project closeout procedures such as retainage, final billing, as-builts, permitting, Occupancy certificate, and follow-up with the client. Create and update engineered drawings using AutoCAD, Carlson, and/or other software as necessary. Manage project budget to ensure scope is completed on time within financial parameters. Identify obstacles to completing the project within budget or on schedule and take necessary steps to communicate the issue with the client and provide an agreeable correction. Prepare and submit daily reports for any sites that were visited. Through collaboration with the site Superintendent, other Project Managers, and Office administrators. Coordinate and manage the successful execution of construction projects from preconstruction to completion
