As a Data Operations Incident Manager at PayPal, I am responsible for incident management and resolution for very large-scale issues and owning multiple application infrastructure/platform which facilitates the money movement of >4B USD across the globe everyday through 150K+ ETL/Batch job executions and business logics in various technologies & scheduler applications. Partnering with cross-functional teams and leadership, I formulate technical recovery strategies for critical incidents and assign tasks to global teams for resolution. This key business function helps protect PayPal\'s revenue-generating platforms from outages and disruptions that could impact customer experiences, while also enhancing the reliability and stability of PayPal\'s data applications, platforms, and core functions.With over 14 years of experience in the Site Reliability Engineering, Payment Data ecosystem and deep technical expertise across data engineering frameworks, including ETL/ELT, Batch Processing, Data Warehousing, and BI/Reporting, I have designed, developed, and led various initiatives. Currently, I focus on building data-lineage/automation/self-service frameworks and driving cost-reduction programs for Operations and for platforms which support PayPal\'s merchant reporting, accounting, risk, compliance, and analytics domains.I leverage data-driven insights to help businesses optimize operations, unlock new revenue streams, and reduce costs. I focus on delivering high-availability platforms, building scalable systems, and driving strong KPI results to enhance customer satisfaction. Passionate about FinTech and Data Analytics, my goal is to elevate platform capabilities and solve complex business challenges.
