About Ashok Maharjan

As a Data Scientist with a foundation in Biological Sciences, I am driven by the curiosity to uncover answers shrouded in data.My journey began in research labs. I realized science wasn\'t just about generating data but unraveling the story hidden in that data. Analyzing complex datasets was challenging and exciting at the same time. I became fascinated by how data transforms into visual stories. That fascination pushed me to pivot from the wet lab to data science.I recently completed a Data Science externship with Cuetessa, where I built deep learning models (CNNs) for audio classification. I also solidified important skills with an Advanced SQL certification through Udemy. I believe in constantly reinventing myself. I\'m excited to see where this journey takes me next.

   Drug shortages often start with paperwork. Compliance teams still review shipping labels, vendor certificates, and quality reports line by line. When processing slows down, patients wait. I am building the AI system to fix this bottleneck- Writing Python scripts that turn messy, unstructured PDFs into clean data- Building OCR pipelines to read complex shipping labels faster than a human can- Creating a smart search tool using RAG and LLMs so teams can find compliance facts instantly- Designing classification logic to spot shipment risks before they cause a delay.
