Manage the engineering and maintenance activities relating to the factory such that employee health and safety, product safety and the protection of the environment are never compromised and that all engineering activities enhance product quality, plant performance and the business objectives. Responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic vision of the factory in areas of manufacturing reliability. • Ensure that all the team members are familiar with, and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).• Propose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources related to Factory Engineering.• Lead and coordinate the Factory Engineering team and maintain competencies, motivation and performance to achieve the team’s mission and objectives.• Liaise daily with Production and Quality Assurance to resolve technical issues and to ensure optimal operation. • Ensure execution of maintenance is in accordance with the Maintenance Strategy by using the Consequence Driven Maintenance philosophy. Ensure implementation of Asset Maintenance Management in SAP as Factory Maintenance System, including technical stores management.• Initiate and coordinate the implementation of new processes / technologies with local market, R&D and SBU Engineering. • Drive innovation / renovation within the factory. Propose and control the Factory Engineering budget as well as the factory\'s capital investment plans and related capital expenditures.• Planning and managing all approved capital projects. Monitor the factory\'s capital investments. Ensure the justification, request for approval and reporting are in line with the Guidelines for Capital Investment. • Successfully executed two minor projects $500k & $950K in 2014 & 2015 as a project manager responsibility.
