I am an outcome focused medical professional, with over 20 years of global experience in healthcare and leadership. My areas of expertise include vascular & endovascular surgery, clinical teaching, patient advocacy, team building, physician recruitment, healthcare operations, communications, budget planning & management, service delivery, integrated medical care, governance and strategy development. I have a deep interest in effective physician engagement for high quality clinical outcomes, patient safety and financial efficiencies.I recently obtained an executive certification in Healthcare Management from the renown Yale School of Management, in Connecticut, USA. This was an overview masterclass on the current strengths and shortcomings within the healthcare industry and I found it of invaluable benefit, for the professional direction, that I am now moving towards. I am a proponent of continual improvement and reform, within the healthcare environment, with a strategic vision for changes to benefit, all stakeholders, to position healthcare services for a positive sustainable future. My current focus is to develop strategies for the COVID-19 and post COVID - 19 era, of healthcare delivery.
