I joined the Society for Labour and Development (SLD) as the Lead for Research, Training, and Communication, advancing to the role of Chief Functionary Officer on February 1, 2022, and subsequently serving as Executive Director from April 1, 2023.As Executive Director, I oversee the strategic and operational management of SLD, driving program development, execution strategies, and advocacy initiatives. I lead research efforts focused on Gender-Based Violence, with a particular emphasis on the garment, seafood, and leather industries, ensuring alignment with SLD’s mission to advance gender equality and workers\' rights.My role also encompasses high-level stakeholder engagement, fund management, and resource mobilization to position SLD as a leading voice in the labour rights space. I am committed to transforming SLD into an influential organization, leveraging partnerships and innovative approaches to promote systemic change.
