ABOUT ASHMITA CHAKRABORTY
As an Executive at PMBJP, I manage the media and promotional aspects of the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana, a flagship scheme of the Government of India to provide affordable and quality medicines to the masses. I also oversee the content development of all the promotional literature of the organisation, and coordinate the events, workshops, and exhibitions of the scheme. I have a strong background in communication and media studies, having completed my master\'s degree in political science and international relations from Delhi University, and currently pursuing a post graduation diploma in journalism and mass communication from IGNOU. I have also worked as a subject matter expert and content developer for ABSAS Solutions, and as a volunteer and online teacher for the United Nations. I have developed and honed my editorial and editing skills, as well as my attention to detail, through these experiences. I am passionate about using my communication and media expertise to support the social and economic development of the country.
