About Ashlynn Howlett
I am a freshman at the University of Arkansas studying Marketing and Business Analytics. I am interested in world travel, volunteer work, and internship opportunities. My best qualities are that I have great technological and organizational skills on top of the fact that I am extremely self-motivated. I developed these skills by creating and running a successful small business in high school. I created a website that connected orders to an Excel spreadsheet in that business. I kept up with this weekly by filling, packing, and delivering 20 orders a week. I also ran our marketing campaign on Facebook and Instagram which spanned over 5 months consisting of over 10 posts. I designed new products throughout the year and ran in-person sales at 5 school events. On top of running this business, I was also extremely involved in community service in my town. During my last half of high-school, I did over 400 hours of service through concession stands, working with a kindergarten class, and various seasonal events such as ringing bells for the Salvation Army. Using the skills that I learned through these experiences I strive towards a career in the marketing field.
