About Ashlin V Francis
I am a recent M.Tech graduate in Water Resources and Hydroinformatics with a strong foundation in GIS technologies and hydrological modeling. My expertise spans across industry-standard tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SEWERGEMS, and SWMM. I have successfully completed academic projects that involved complex spatial analysis and stormwater modeling, demonstrating my ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges. During my two-month internship at the Kerala State Remote Sensing and Environment Centre (KSREC), I gained hands-on experience with ArcGIS and remote sensing applications, further strengthening my skills in spatial data processing and environmental analysis. Currently, I am working as a Flood Modeller Intern at Dygnify, where I contribute to flood risk assessments and modeling efforts using advanced GIS and hydrological tools. I am passionate about leveraging geospatial and hydrological technologies to address real-world environmental and water resource challenges and look forward to advancing my career in this domain.
